Powerful Muscular Woman - Delia Gonzalez, Mexican muscular woman

Delia 'Chikita' Gonzalez (born November 20, 1970 in New Mexico) is a flyweight female boxer. She has a record of 13-9-4 with 3 knockout wins, although several of her losses have been controversial.

Gonzalez is Mexican-American, and trained at the gym under her father's guidance. Soon she earned the nickname Chikita, after her favorite boxer, the former 2 time World flyweight champion Humberto "Chiquita" Gonzalez of Mexico.

As a professional, Delia began with a 4 round decision win over Lucy Tellez in Texas. A couple of fights later, she beat Gloria Ramirez twice, once by knockout in the 3rd, and once by decision in 4. Both fights again took place in Texas. Two more wins followed and a title shot came after that, and she beat Klee Fenie in Las Vegas to become the WIBF's world Flyweight champion. She defended her title against Anissa Zamarron winning on points, then met Phoenix's Yvonne Trevino which the judges called a technical draw (word used for tie in boxing). She later met Jolene Blackshear and lost the world title.

She traveled to Cologne, Germany for a bout against Regina Halmich, in May 2000 which she lost. She has won four fights since, more notably the two wins over Yolanda Gonzalez.

Later, Gonzales fought in the bantamweight ranks, and in June 2003 lost a fight against Ada Vélez for the WIBA bantamweight title on a seventh-round disqualification. She is also managed boxer Rebecca Rodriguez.

On March 19, 2004 Gonzalez returned to the ring for a 6-round draw with Johanna Peña-Álvarez.

Powerful Muscular Woman - Deirdre Gogarty, Ireland muscular woman

Deirdre Gogarty (born November 10, 1969) is a female boxer who was born in Drogheda, Ireland. Due to legal issues regarding Women's Boxing in Ireland at the time, Gogarty could not engage in competition there. She currently fights out of New Orleans, Louisiana. However, before the law was passed in Ireland, preventing women from engaging in boxing events, Gogarty was able to begin her career there with a six round decision win against Anne-Marie Griffin. The law preventing females from participating in the sport of boxing in Ireland has since been revoked and there is an increasing number of females becoming involved with the sport thanks to its Olympic acceptance and the consistent international success of Katie Taylor.

After leaving Ireland, Gogarty's next three fights took her to London and Kansas City, Missouri. In London, she defeated Jane Johnson twice, by a four round knockout and by and eight round decision. In Kansas City, she drew after six rounds with Stacy Prestage After the rematch with Johnson, she obtained her first knockout in the first round, beating Jane McGhee. Another win followed this and she was matched with Prestage again, resulting in another draw after six rounds.

Following the emerging pattern, another win followed this tie and she was matched against Prestage for a rubber match. However, this time Gogarty suffered her first loss when Prestage won a ten round decision over her. Two more wins followed this defeat, including a six round knockout of the top contender Carol Brown and a first round knockout win over Missy Buchanan. In spite of this winning streak, Gogarty next lost a six round decision when she faced Mary Anne Almager.

Gogarty followed this defeat with a win, after which she was matched with Isra Girgrah, who Gogarty knocked out in three rounds. This is considered her biggest win to date. She ten boxed another of Female Boxing's top competitors when she faced Laura Serrano, who beat Gogarty by a knockout in round seven. A knockout win followed this defeat in the first round when she fought Jessica Breitfelder. Gogarty then participated in the fight many credit as putting Female Boxing on the sports' fan page: she and Christy Martin faced each other in a six round match that was televised by Showtime. This fight made the covers of many magazines. Many fans of Women's Boxing considered it the female version of the Thrilla in Manila. Martin won by a six round decision.

Gogarty succeeded in winning another three fights consecutively before she challenged Bonnie Canino for the Women's International Boxing Federation's Women's World Featherweight Champtionship. Gogarty became a World Champion after winning the fight on a ten round decision. She defended her title against Monique Strohman and Debra Strohman. Both were defeated in first round knockouts. In her last fight to date, Gogarty lost her title to Beverly Szymanski on a ten round decision.

Gogarty co-wrote her memoir, My Call to the Ring: A Memoir of a Girl Who Yearns to Box, with Darrelyn Saloom. The book was published by Glasnevin Publishing on August 8, 2012. The very next day, Katie Taylor won a gold Medal for Ireland in the 2012 Summer Olympics, which included women's boxing for the first time in history.

  

Powerful Muscular Woman - Isra Girgrah, Yemen muscular woman

Isra Girgrah (born September 16, 1971 in Aden, Yemen), is a world champion female boxer.

The Girgrah family is of the old, high society, families of Aden, Yemen. They trace their roots to the northern Yemeni mountains of Al Bayda governorate. Isra, at the age of 3, moved to Canada with her family in 1974 and began boxing there in 1994 to stay in shape. A multi-sport star in high school volleyball, soccer and volleyball, she proved a natural as a boxer. She says she fell in love with the sport after a year of training and took it up again after graduating from college and moving to Atlanta, United States.

Girgrah, whose world boxing identification number is MD040035, is an American citizen, although the "MD" in her identification number stands for Middle East. Girgrah and Naseem Hamed are the only two world champion boxers of the Arab world, and both hail of Yemeni origin. Unlike Egypt, Morocco and several other Arab nations, Yemen does not boast a rich sporting culture, yet these two phenoms have sparked worldwide interest in the hidden athletic talents Yemen may possess.

Isra's style has been dubbed beautiful & dynamic as she dominates her opponents. Her fighting nickname is "Raging Beauty". Her record includes holding 4 World Class Belts. IBF Lightweight Champion, UBA Lightweight Champion, IWBF Jr. Lightweight Champion, WIBF Jr. Lightweight Champion

Her professional boxing debut came on February 14, 1995, in Louisiana, when she lost to future world champion Deirdre Gogarty by a knockout in three rounds. On November 2, she acquired her first victory, a six round decision win, over Melinda Robinson, another future world champion, in Austin, Texas.

Powerful Muscular Woman - Hannah Fox, American female boxer

Hannah Lee Fox (born September 29, 1969), better known as Hannah Fox is a former female boxer. She is from Las Vegas, Nevada. Her nickname is "The Vegas", which made her name sound like "Hannah The Vegas Fox" when introduced to fans before a fight.

Her first professional fight came on December 26, 1997, when she beat Heidi Tide by a decision in four, in Las Vegas. On her second fight, January 23 of 1998, she got her first knockout win, finishing her fight with Teara Anne Sanders in the first round.

Fox won her next seven fights in a row, with two knockouts. Among her foes during that initial, nine fight winning streak, were Tide in a rematch, Julie Birdsell, who antagonized Fox on Fox's first fight outside Nevada, with Fox winning an eight round decision at Biloxi, Mississippi, and the well known fighters, Diana Dutra, and Dawn George.

On January 15, 1999, she suffered her first, and only, career loss, when outpointed by Fredia Gibbs over eight rounds in Las Vegas. Fox, however, kept on the rise after this defeat: she had set her mind on one goal, and that was to become a world boxing champion.

After the loss to Gibbs came a rematch with Dutra, and Fox defeated the young hopeful once again, this time by a unanimous six round decision. Then, she fought Glenda Watkins, beating her by another six round decision, and becoming the IFBA's number one ranked challenger for the IFBA's world Jr. welterweight title.

The opportunity she had long dreamed about finally came on June 11, 1999, at Bossier City, Louisiana, when she challenged Leah Mellinger for Mellinger's world Jr. Welterweight championship. Fox became the IFBA's world Jr. Welterweight champion by defeating Mellinger by a ten round decision.

With her dream finally accomplished, Fox retired, and has not made an attempt at a comeback.

Her boxing record was 12 wins, with only 1 loss, and 3 knockout wins.

Powerful Muscular Woman - Freeda Foreman, American female boxer

Freeda George Foreman (born October 16, 1976) is a former American competitor in the sport of Women's boxing, and the daughter of former two-time World Heavyweight Boxing Champion George Foreman.

Foreman studied Kinesiology at Kingwood College. She also attended Texas Southern University.

After retiring from boxing, Foreman served as the executive director at the George Foreman Youth and Community Center.

Foreman was a guest star on an episode of King of the Hill.
